One day a happy-go-lucky circus mouse gets tired of the limelight and the illusionist that conjures him out of a top hat everyday. He says goodbye to his old friends and with the help of a nail-file he gets out of his cage and sets out into the world. But the world has surprises in store for him. He goes through more strange adventures on the first day of his new life than he experienced over years in the big city. First, it is the cold, then the snow and the wind causes trouble. Then a speechless goblin, an awfully bug-like wizard with his drunken friends, a big and wicked cat and an omniscient snowman appears, not to mention the sledge, pulled by mice, and a lot of other unpleasant or awkward happenings. The arrival of the talkative mouse turns the life of the whole forest upside down. Strange traps and evil plans can not bring him out of conceit. And let us not deny that good things can also happen to people (even to mice) in the forest. Christmas is coming in a little while and there’s a cute mouse girl.
