The story of this film happens on the borderline between dream and reality, the heroes are young people of 15-16 who move about in the dark maze of night-life with impressive confidence. Their parents' careers are discouraging examples for them, they live their self-destructive lives in an extasy of getting money easily by cheating, stealing and lying. However they are motivated by real, moral norms. Attila, a victim of family loyalty, while freeing his criminal brother from the hands of the police, he himself becomes a criminal chased by the police. Zoli, a fanatic fan of Jack London's dog-sledge heroes, records, with the help of a tiny cassette recorder, the events of the surrounding world with the vision of a writer, while, between the lines, the most deeply-hidden secrets of his life are recorded onto the magnetic tape as well. Their everyday life is lead in the refraction of a strange love. Rita, the 16-year-old daughter of their relatives who emigrated from Transylvania joins the company, and the boys cannot help falling in love with her. Rita's transformation is incomprehensible even to herself, her growing-up coincides with the moments of the Romanian revolution which give rise to many illusions. Dreams and desire mix in the film with the reality of burglary and minor stealth; passion and anger alternate with cold scheming, and logic in the hearts of our heroes.
