This fifty minute Péter Bacsó film is part of the Hungarian-Polish coproduction which set out to portray the fall of communism in comedy. The heroes of the Hungarian film are a boy and girl who meet for the first time at a lamp-it demonstration five-minutes before the fall of communism. They then run into each other again at a demonstration for the environment. Passionate love will be born from this acquaintance, there is only one problem, neither of them has a job or a flat. They try to consummate their love in a borrowed holiday home only to be unexpectedly surprised by the owner. It turns out that elderly man is the owner of a night spot and he makes them a strange offer. In exchange for continuing their life together they must also continue it in public, in his night club. They young coupe at first angrily reject hiss offer but their harsh situation makes them reconsider…
