The documentary film containing a number of historic revelations begins with newsreels about the funeral of Dzerzinsky, the founder of the Soviet political police, and finishes with images of the pulling sown of Dzerzinsky's statue which occured after the conservative coup in August 1991 has been put down in Moscow. Miklós Kun asks the questions three ex president of the KGB, as well as ex prime minister Rizhkov and a well-known dissidents who lave been to the Gulag. Apart from reviving the two infamous figures , Beria and Andropov, the film tell about the world and everyday life of the Soviet intelligence agents as well as the machanicism by which the KGB tried to curb free thinking. Professor Miklós Kun in a number of works published elements of the history of Tzarist Russia as well as the Soviet Union recently finding acces even to the archives of Stain.
