"This is a made up, invented story. Somebody once told me the story of her life. They got out from a country town, went to the West to sell their bodies, then everything went wrong; jealousy, prison, loneliness. As she told me, I felt that I had to write about it, I had to write the continuation. I knew I had to make a film of it. Tha characters in the story are real people who are still alive. This is a film about love, about giving and opening up to another. This film is about falsehood, self-deceltion and defencelessness. In this film someone finds herself and loses others. This film is the monologue of a girl from Dunaújváros, with the pictures that we made, in the setting and world in which we imagined her life. There was no framework well-defined in advance. The distraction of remembrance and recollection and the alternation in the rythm of oblivion and erasement determined the structure of the film while the story itself created its style. I think that this is a rough but emotional film. It is close to me, I have been shaped by the story itself: there were no predetermined frames our rules. And to say something personal too: I am like this film. So, I dedicate myself to you."
