Hungarian animation in competition at Sundance

The digital drawing animation was made at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME) with the support of the Hungarian National Film Fund.

WHITE GOD – First-ever Hungarian film at Sundance

The Cannes Un Certain Regard Jury Prize winner film will be the first-ever Hungarian full-length feature to appear in the selection of the world-famous festival of independent films, which will be held in Park City from 22 January.

Hungarian film director Zsolt Kézdi-Kovács dies

Not only renowned for his work as a director, he was also the founder of Magyar Filmunió and worked as the Hungarian representative of Eurimages for 19 years.

Obituary - Éva Vezér 1957-2014

Vezér, was president of the pan-European promotion body EFP from 2009-2011, had extensive experience of working both for the film and television industries. She was 57.
