There are people whose lives are packed with unexpected, dramatic situations almost unbelievable for outsiders. This is when we normally say: it is like in a novel. Or like in a movie. There is a film series which deals with cases that have happened in real life - the series is called "My Story" and has been very successful on French TV France 3 - of which this film is an episode. The protagonist of the "Wdding-service" is a press photographer (originally a cameraman colleague), a reach bachelor who decides to marry so that he can inherit an appartment. The "bride" is a Hungarian girl from Transylvania from whom this is the only chance of escaping from the Ceausescu dictatorship in Romania. Everything goes well, and according to their agreemant they have to wait a few weeks only before they can get a divorce. But the man, whose life is turned completely upside down by this "marriage", does not want to divorce. History confuses the situation further: we are in December 1989, when the revolution breaks out in Temesvár and then Bucharest. And the Securitate appears...
