Let's Love Each Other
(Szeressük egymást gyerekek)
(1995, feature, colour, 94 min.)

The idea of this film came from some pieces of news in the papers about end-of-millenium Budapest. The product is a reportage of our life as Pál Sándor, Károly Makk and Miklós Jancsó see it. This is the same city: its railway stations, amusement arcades, dilapidated buildings and homes, bright shopwindows and nightclubs. These are the same people: homeless people, teachers, raking dust-bins, unemployed people with guns, bohemian police officers and initiated television reporters. This is the same story: about a slice of bread, a pizza, some pleasure, all of wich are in short supply. This film by Pál Sándor, Károly Makk and Miklós Jancsó is a thriller tale about the end of the millenium, and about the way we are trying to get rid of each other. The story has the ending of a thriller. Does it really?
