FilmFest Warszawa, the 24th international film feast is being held in the Polish capital these days.
In the first feature film competition, The Investigator by Attila Gigor contends for the Warsaw Main Prize. After its appearance in the Polish capital, the story of Tibor Malkáv continues its career in the "Cinema Extraordinaire" competition program of the Bergen Festival in Norway.
Song of Lives, Csaba Bereczki's documentary about Transylvanian musicians, will have its international premiere in Warsaw. The 100 minutes long movie will debut in the competition program of the Warsaw IFF. Attila Gigor and Csaba Bereczki will introduce their films personally in Warsaw.
Five Hungarian productions are invited to participate in the Short Film Competition of the most influental Polish cinema event.
Dániel Erdélyi's short film, 411-Z, premiered in Cannes thsi year, the animation Ergo by Géza M. Tóth - also introduced in Cannes and continuing its festival journey by traveling afterwards to Bergen Festival, the short Werewolf by Márton Vécsei and Cuckoo by Cecília Felméri as well as Mozzzart by László Hegedűs 2 will all compete in Warsaw.
