Hungarian director Istvan Szabo will head the jury at the Pusan International Film Festival in Korea.
Other jurors will be Hong Kong producer Daniel Yu, Korean actress Moon So-Ry, French director Bruno Dumont and Iranian director Abolfazl Jalili.
They will judge New Currents, the festival’s only competitive section for emerging Asian film-makers. The top prize comes with $30,000.
Pusan also announced that the jurors for the Sonje & Woonpa fund, which judges the best Korean short film and documentary in the Wide Angle programme. Those jurors are Kim Nansook of the Dongsoong Art Center, documentary film-maker Kim Tae-il, and Won Seung-hwan, managing director of Association of Korea Independent Film & Video.
