Doll No. 639, the 15-minute Hungarian sci-fi by András György Dési and Gábor Móray won the First Prize of the Genova X-Science Film Festival. As the international jury emphasized: "Waving between utopia and dystopia, using the language of a stereotypical future where technology has gone over human relationships, this movie faces in a critical and original way the themes of science and science fiction collecting visions of a possible future." On 15th March Kata Oláh, the producer of the film accepted the award personally at the festival organized in the North-Italian port town.
Doll No. 639 "set in the future that could be the past too" was presented at several int' short film festivals all over the world and won main prizes in Amsterdam, Budapest, Brussels, Nancy and Nashville in 2006-2007.
In Aubagne, South-France Alterego, a short film by Ferenc Sebő won the Best Fiction Award. The trophy was accepted by the director and András Wahorn, the composer of the film personally at the final ceremony of the festival on 15th March.
Alterego, the first short feature directed by Ferenc Sebő was awarded Best Cinematography - Máté Tóth Widamon - at the 2007 Hungarian Film Week in Budapest.
