Sao Paulo’s 5th CineFantasy dedicated to fantastic cinema awarded 1 directed by Pater Sparrow and Krisztián Károly Köves’ DEATHWALTZ.
Two Hungarian first features were among the prize winners of the 5th CineFantasy IFF in Sao Paulo this weekend. The event dedicated to fantastic cinema showcased 160 moving pictures from around the globe between 31 August-12 September.
Pater Sparrow’s feature film adaptation of Stanislaw Lem’s One Human Minute, entitled 1, won Best Sci-fi Award of CineFantasy festival while Krisztián Károly Köves’ crime thriller Deathwaltz got the 3rd Audience Prize.
Both full-length feature films were supported by the Motion Picture Public Foundation of Hungary.
